It is hoping to raise $2000 to purchase a backdrop and lighting for taking photos of its artefacts.
Meanwhile, Orillia Soldiers’ Memorial Hospital Foundation is asking the community to give the Gift of Patient Comfort by supporting the purchase of ice machines and blanket warmers in Soldiers’ Emergency, Diagnostic Imaging and Surgical Departments
Soldiers’ says it needs three ice machines, each with a price tag of about $7,000, and two blanket warmers at a cost of $5,000 each to better serve patients.
Autism Speaks Canada is also calling all Canadians to join the global movement and support Autism Speaks Canada’s mission to promote solutions, across the spectrum and throughout the lifespan, for the needs of people with autism and their families by donating generously.
