(UPDATED) Deadly long weekend on Simcoe County roads

Four people were killed in three separate collisions in a span of a few hours.

A terrible long weekend on Simcoe County roads with three separate collisions resulting in four deaths in a span of a few hours on Saturday night.

Two of the collisions were in Clearview Township,  one on Fairgrounds Road near Creemore,  a 46 year old Clearview Township man was killed when he was ejected from the vehicle he was driving when it entered a ditch.

East of Stayner, on Highway 26 near Klondike Park Road,  OPP say a Mustang was passing numerous vehicles when it collided head on with a car.

Serious injuries to both drivers.

Two passengers in the Mustang were killed, a 20 year old man and a 19 year old woman.

No names released.

And on County Road 1 near Loretto,  a car rounding a sharp curve entered the ditch and flipped on to its roof, killing a passenger,  an 82 year old woman from Dufferin County.
