A man and woman, both from New Lowell, face charges in a crash in Bradford.
South Simcoe Police were called to a parking lot on Holland Street West on Tuesday for a report of a vehicle hitting a pedestrian and some parked cars.
The suspect vehicle fled the area and two witnesses boxed in the SUV at an intersection and physically restrained the driver.
The witnesses were allegedly assaulted by the driver and his female passenger before officers arrived.
A 29 year old man is charged with impaired driving, dangerous driving, failing to stay at the scene of an accident, possession of drugs, assault and other offences.
A 30 year old woman is charged with possession of drugs and 2 counts of assault.
The pedestrian who was hit was treated for minor injuries in the hospital and released.
The two witnesses weren't injured.
