The new owner of the businesses at Beach Area One in Wasaga Beach is facing charges after a raid on some of the bars on the Canada Day long weekend.
Police investigated the security guards on duty during that weekend and charged the owner of The Dard, Bananas and the Copa Cabana with offences under the Private Security and Investigative Services Act of Ontario.
Police say the security guards on duty at the bars were not properly registered with the Ministry of Community Safety and Correctional Services.
Marc Grossi of Toronto is expected in court in Wasaga Beach on August 21st.
