Costco has confirmed the opening of its Orillia store on Tuesday, July 25, starting at 8 a.m.
The store is located on University Avenue.
Company spokesman Ron Damiani says approximately 235 people have been hired.
He says Costco picked Orillia for a number of reasons, including its attraction as a seasonal destination, but also data that revealed a large number of customers from the region shopped at its stores in Barrie and East Gwillimbury.
