Barrie Police are investigating after a fake officer apparently tried to pull over a vehicle in the city.
Police say on Tuesday night, a citizen became suspicious of a car with flashing blue and red dash lights that tried to pull him over as he travelled southbound on Yonge St. near Mapleview Dr..
Barrie police were called and it was determined that the 2011-2014 black Dodge Charger was not a real officer.
Police say if in doubt, slow down, put the 4 way flashers on and call 911.
