Six people have been arrested as part of an ongoing investigation into recent drug related incidents in North Simcoe.
Officers stopped a suspect vehicle on Friday on Fairgrounds Road in Clearview Township and as a result, the occupants were taken into custody and a search of the vehicle was conducted.
Police say they seized a quantity of fentanyl, cocaine, crack, meth, and cash, along with an 8″ knife and drug paraphernalia.
The accused include:
1) Brandon John McCue 36 years of no fixed address has been charged with –
- Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of Trafficking – Cocaine (two counts)
- Failure to comply with release order – other than to attend court (two counts)
- Possession of proceeds of property obtained by crime under $5000 – in Canada
- Resist Peace Officer
The accused was remanded into custody for a future bail hearing and later will appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Midland at a future date.
2) Tanner McCue 23 years of Penetanguishene has been charged with –
- Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of Trafficking – Cocaine
- Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of Trafficking-Opioid (other than heroin)
The accused was released on a recognizance to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Midland on April 1, 2021.
3) Ashley Dawn LeCamp 31 years of Penetanguishene has been charged with –
- Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of Trafficking – Cocaine
- Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of Trafficking-Opioid (other than heroin)
The accused was released on a recognizance to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Midland on April 1, 2021.
4) Taylor Dupuis 25 years of Penetanguishene has been charged with –
- Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of Trafficking – Cocaine
- Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of Trafficking-Opioid (other than heroin)
The accused was released on a recognizance to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Midland on April 1, 2021.
5) Lindsey Pickett 35 years of Tay Township has been charged with –
- Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of Trafficking – Cocaine
- Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of Trafficking-Opioid (other than heroin)
- Possession of a Schedule I Substance – Methamphetamine
The accused was remanded into custody for a future bail hearing and later will appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Midland at a future date.
6) Jesse John Adair 30 years of no fixed address has been charged with –
- Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of Trafficking – Cocaine
- Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of Trafficking-Opioid (other than heroin)
The accused was released on a recognizance to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Midland on April 1, 2021.
