Do you have your QR code?
Effective today, Ontarians will need to have enhanced COVID-19 vaccine certificates with a scannable QR code to enter any non-essential businesses that require proof of vaccination.
In addition, anyone who has a medical exemption will need a verified certificate with a QR code as of next Monday, Jan. 10.
The provincial government says the Verify Ontario app will also be required for businesses to scan the QR codes in order to confirm a person’s vaccination status.
