Due to the inclement weather, all school buses and vans to schools in ALL weather zones of Simcoe County are cancelled today, along with all buses to schools in Muskoka, Haliburton and Kawartha Lakes for the Trillium Lakelands District School Board.
Schools are closed to students and remote learning will be offered to all students within the region.
All school vehicles to St. Dominic Catholic Secondary School, Monsignor Michael O’Leary and Saint Mary Catholic Elementary Schools have been cancelled.
UPDATE – SCDSB and SMCDSB have announced all schools are now closed today.
Due to poor visibility and deteriorating road conditions, a decision has been made to close all schools and board office locations in the Simcoe Muskoka District School Board today. This means that in addition to buses being cancelled, our school buildings will be closed for all students and staff. Students can access remote learning through their virtual learning classroom.

Due to current road conditions and the forecast for poor weather to continue throughout the day, all SCDSB schools will be closed (Jan. 17). Students will move to remote learning where possible.
