Collingwood taxpayers will be asked for just under three per cent more this year, on the town portion of their property tax bill.
Council has approved the 2023 operating and capital budgets.
It will cost nearly 67 million dollars for day-to-day operations, and there is about 63 million dollars worth of capital expenses.
A news release from town hall says when school board and county taxes are factored in, the overall property tax increase is 2.5 per cent.
