The OPP has identified the human remains found in Wasaga Beach.
On May 24th at 3:30 p.m., police received information that suspected human remains were located by members of a land surveying company in the area off Highway 26.
A post-mortem examination has confirmed the remains to be that of an individual reported missing in July 2020.
Foul play is not suspected.
Out of respect for the family’s privacy, police aren’t releasing the name of the deceased.
