The Special Investigations Unit (SIU) of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has invoked its mandate in relation to an incident early this morning in the Town of Collingwood.
Officers from the Collingwood and The Blue Mountains Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a call for service at a residence in the Town of Collingwood on December 22, 2023.
During the course of the investigation, one person suffered injuries.
The OPP has notified the province’s SIU, which has invoked its mandate. As a result, the OPP will not be able to provide any further information.
