Collingwood OPP have charged a 44 year old local man with 7 criminal offences of mischief, and failing to comply with a probation order.
A series of deliberate cutting of Rogers and Bell fibre optic wires on hydro poles throughout the town led police to the accused.
Police acknowledge residential surveillance cameras were a big help in making the arrest.
