A pedestrian was struck by a vehicle in Meaford yesterday.
Grey Bruce OPP were called to a reported of a collision involving a pickup truck and a pedestrian around 3:40 p.m. Wednesday afternoon at the intersection of Sykes Street North and Trowbridge Street.
Grey County paramedics also attended the scene. The pedestrian was transported to a local hospital, with injuries police describe as non-life-threatening.
The driver of the involved truck, a 22-year-old from Collingwood, was ticketed for a Highway Traffic Act offence of careless driving causing bodily harm.
