The Town of Wasaga Beach is celebrating the first day of summer by kicking off a new tradition and launching The Official Soundtrack of Summer. It’s a playlist featuring over 40 artists – and has been curated and made available on Spotify, Facebook and Instagram.
The music is reflective of bands that have played the Beach, or represent the spirit of summer at Wasaga – it featured artists include April Wine, Neil Young, Bryan Adams, The Tragically Hip, and The Beach Boys – and some local acts too including The Strumbellas, Bedouin Soundclash, Barstool Confession, Rob Watts Band, and more.
The town is inviting public input – you can grow the soundtrack by submitting songs in the comment sections on social media posts. There is more info at wasagabeach.com
