Collingwood OPP hosted a team of officers from neighbouring detachments and held a commercial vehicle blitz yesterday (Mar 4).
According to a news release, a staggering 42% of vehicles were in violation of the law and deemed out of service.
Infractions included no commercial vehicle operators registration, load being overweight, improper tires, and the failure to properly conduct daily inspections.
Two of the commercial vehicles stopped were found fully compliant.
