20 blankets and quilts have been donated to Southern Georgian Bay OPP to keep in cruisers.
They’ll be given out in an emergency situation.
The quilts were made by a group known as Veteran KNITS Appreciation Apparel, an organization of volunteer knitters and rocheteres that make an aray of items like quilts, mittens, toques and more.
The Penetanguishene Legion and Penetanguishene Lions Club have donated money to buy wool for this group.
