The province’s so-called Sunshine List has been released.
It discloses the salaries of public sector workers in Ontario earning $100-grand or more.
The list of top earning employees has grown by 7 percent, more than 123-thousand people were paid more than 100-thousand dollars last year.
At the top is Ontario Power Generation CEO Jeffrey Lyash, who was paid $1.15 million last year.
President and CEO of the University Of Toronto Asset Management Corporation – William Moriarty – made over $1 million.
Jill Pepall, executive V-P of the Ontario Pension Board made $835,389, and Peter Pisters the President & CEO of the University Health Network: $753,992
19 public sector workers with the City of Orillia cracked the $100,000 salary threshold.
At the top was Chief Administrative Officer Gayle Jackson, who earned just under $180,000 in 2016.
There are 12 other names on the list from City Hall, and six from the fire department, with Chief Ralph Dominelli pulling in over $138,000.
Pat Campbell, CEO and President of Orillia Soldiers’ Memorial Hospital, earned more than $267,000.
At Georgian College, CEO and President Marylynn West-Moynes, was over $287,000, while Kim Fedderson, Principal at the Orillia campus of Lakehead University came in at just over $201,000.
