A new Netflix series was filmed, in part, in the Blue Mountain Village.
Spinning Out tells the story of a figure skater down on her luck who, to keep her dreams alive, must learn to skate with a partner to try to make it to Nationals. The show deals with mental health and the darker side of the competitive figure skating world.
Many scenes are shot through out the village. But the makers of the show did take liberties with the mountain by adding another peak to make the Blue Mountains look a lot taller.
