For decades, Kim Mitchell has been paving his own way through the Canadian rock music scene. From the early days of Max Webster, to having achieved award-winning success as a solo artist, Kim Mitchell is among Canada’s most respected singers, songwriters, and guitar players. He’s behind a massive catalogue of classic hits that we all know and love to sing along to….”Rock and Roll Duty”, “Paradise Skies”, “Go For A Soda”, “Patio Lanterns”…just to name a few.
It’s only fitting that he now joins a long list of Canadian music icons after being inducted into the Canadian Songwriters Hall of Fame on July 21, 2021. Kim was kind enough to join us on Max Mornings to talk all about this incredible honour, his songwriting process, and about his latest record, “The Big Fantasize”.
“The Big Fantasize” is out everywhere now! Stay up to date with upcoming shows and all things Kim Mitchell at kimmitchell.ca
“My Georgian Bay” is one you’ll hear off the new record. It’s all about Kim’s love for the beautiful Georgian Bay area that we are all so lucky to call home.
