If you have a building project planned for this summer, the Nottawasaga Valley Conservation Authority advises that you apply for permits well ahead of construction.
Permits are required for projects on properties within NVCA-regulated areas.
You can check the authority’s website to see if your property is regulated, and if it is, the agency should be consulted for advice.
Once a complete application is submitted, it can take up to 90 days to issue a permit.
