More than four years after Elnaz Hajtamiri was abducted in Wasaga Beach, and is believed dead, the accused has made a plea deal.
Thirty-eight year old Mohamad Lilo pleaded guilty to conspiracy to kidnap Hajtamiri, and for that murder charges were dropped, and both sides in the matter have agreed to a proposed four-year sentence.
The victim was kidnapped on January 12, 2022. She had previously been the accused’s girlfriend – but had broken up with him only to be stalked, followed, assaulted, and then murdered.
