Quite a sight for a family in the east end of Wasaga Beach early this morning, awoken by their barking dog.
They say they saw a large black bear lumbering across River Road East near the Country Life resort.
Their dog first alerted the couple to the big bear’s presence.
The couple says they’ve contacted the MNR about the bear, and were assured there will be an alert about it later today.
