Okay, this is just too cute! I had no idea there was even such a thing as a black fox, but I am certainly happy that I stumbled upon this today.
You may be reading this and think….”Jeeze, have you been living under a rock?”….and the answer is yes…yes I have been living under a rock. Apparently, if you live or have lived anywhere around the GTA, you’ve probably seen one before.
They’re actually called Silver Foxes, and sightings have been on the rise, particularly around Toronto. Daytime or nighttime, people have been encountering these majestic creatures. The silver fox represents about 8% of the red fox population in Canada and aren’t as rare as they seem.
